Putting on eyeliner, mascara, foundation and lipstick is part of the daily beauty routine for millions of women.
But many are being heavy-handed with the contents of their cosmetics bag in the mistaken belief that it’s what men want.
Most men are ignorant in how women use makeup. 95% of women would look pretty nasty without makeup, look how even beautiful models post pics of themselves with no makeup and its shocking how bad they look.

I don't think it said anywhere that men prefer no make up, just more natural looking make up over heavy makeup.
I don't think the "natural look" means barefaced and it wasn't stated that way in the article.
Of course, the photo with the non-natural look features hideous makeup; makeup artists everywhere would be gagging at that makeup job. There is well-done makeup that is not the natural look, and some men may even like it.
I regularly get compliments when I wear red lipstick, and on the occasion I wear eyeshadow, I notice an increase in male attention (and I don't wear it for that reason, or else I'd wear it more). I don't look garish like the photo in that article though.
The natural look is fine too, but it's not the only makeup look that can be attractive and not garish.
I wear make up because it enhances my beauty.
I must say that most men are not real attractive so it goes both ways...we just get to cover up imperfections!
Sorry boys
