I have a ton of scarves. When I used to work in engineering and wore suits I wore them all the time. Since I retired Im more casual. I still wear some but not the big ones.
And I wear neckties too. I have some really kewl vintage ties I wear tied real low. NEVER around the neck. See turtleneck thread.
I love them, I have been knitting them like crazy since I learned to knit. I have been looking for victims to knit scarves for, I see I have come to the right place.

Not sure what its called but theres a program where you knit or crochet hats scarves and mittens for poor children. Theres also one where you make hats and booties for preemies. I used to do these awhile back but I havent had time lately.

My 2 year old was a preemie and while he was in the NICU the sweetest 10 year old brought little hats that she had knitted for all the babies. It was so sweet and made me a little teary. I still have his.
I learned how to crochet those stretchy scarves that were all the rage a few years back, but I think I've forgotten.
