maybe you're right, but i will never understand how a "man" wearing a scarf in anything other than inclement weather can be at all appealing

It seems like when casual Friday started everyone could wear jeans to work then it quickly turned in to every day was casual Friday and that was about twenty years ago. Before that people seem to dress nice going out.

A man dressed nicely can still be a pompous ass just as much as a man in jeans and graphic tshirt could bend over backwards to help a stranger.

Dont judge a book by its cover.

Guess YOU need to hang out with a better class of men also...

I like going out in shorts and a graphic t-Shirt, usually for a band or sports team, in the summer and jeans and a sweatshirt, usually for a band, on the winter. Its comfortable. I dress nice for work. Other than that I dress down. I also keep my clothes for years. I usually can keep my jeans for 5+ years and my shirts for longer. I don't buy as the trends change.

LoL... as an American Man I didn't realize I always dressed like as the OP described. News to me... how's it looking way up there on your high horse OP?

Anyway... I dress for the occasion. When I'm at work it's always business or business casual attire and if it's my off day and there's nothing really going on then it's jeans and a t-shirt. If we're going out to a function or dinner then I'll dress appropriately.

As a man why in the heck would you care what another man dresses like? Worry about yourself or move to Europe where you can stare at all the well dressed men you want.

I like to wear clothes that look like they fit me. Where i live, THE attire of choice is a Crimson Tide or War Eagle t-shirt, sweater, jacket, pullover, windbreaker, etc, etc....If it doesn't have your team affiliation on it, it just isn't worn.

My wife will tell you: even in college, at those hot steamy SEC college football games, I was wearing a button down, tucked in, and a blazer. I don't need to IMPRESS anyone, but I always think, what if this is the last time I walk this earth? How do I want to go out? I want to go out looking like THE BOSS.
