It is impractical to try to ban tight clothing, but there should be limits on both sexes on showing upper leg and nipples in public.
I personally remember them. The upper middle class girls wore nicer hot pants and halters than the middle class girls. You can bet your sweet bippy that the girls were showing a lot of skin. In my lifetime, it started in the 60s and was pervasive by the early 70s.

Yoga pants/leggings are revealing in that many are not nearly thick enough and/or many women are not buying the proper size. Therefore you get women walking around with their underwear completely visible or else they look like a sausage busting out of its casing. More often than not, the ones wearing them honestly don't have the body for it. That's just my take though.

Another look I'm not getting is the diaper (jean) shorts, usually so short that "underbutt" is showing or so tight that they look like they just might be cutting off circulation.

Maybe I'm just modest for a young woman, but I really don't understand how anyone can walk out of the house comfortably with their boobs and butt out for the world to see.

Like I explained in an earlier post, attractive, fit men showing certain body parts hits the FEMALE libido (not to mention the gay male libido). So, if, in your opinion, women should refrain from wearing certain clothes that could get men excited, then attractive men should show the same consideration and propriety, no?

I may be out of the dating game but my vision is better than ever. Tight sexy clothing on a beautiful woman makes a dreary day nicer. If you got it flaunt it. Some of us appreciate it.

I agree, and have said as much earlier. However, I will clarify that there are different ways to "flaunt." For myself, I do not like what I consider "trashy" looks, like those girls that stick their butts out in the transparent tights or shorts, or where skin tight short dresses that are cut "down-to-there." I have a nice figure, but I prefer body skimming sundresses (not skin-tight) that are just above the knee and showing cleavage but not dangerously low. I also mentioned I like yoga pants (the thick kind) and stretchy capris with a fitted knit top, shows off my figure but not in a crude way. So I would call my style of dressing "classy sexy."

Not a fan at all of the young girls (and older ones) that go around looking like porn stars.

It really depends on the guy. Guys who are put off by too much flaunting would go for the sweet-looking girl in the flowery dress. The girl in the leggings is going to get attention from the wrong guys. But maybe that's what she wants.

Earlier in the thread there was a specific question asked and that's how the conversation segued into female shoulders.

I don't understand why all women need to be so concerned with the "male libido," though. Are men unable to control themselves and conduct themselves like decent human beings? That's the problem, then, not what the women are wearing. The men I know are perfectly capable of seeing a woman wearing tight, revealing clothing and not commenting on it. They notice it, I'm sure, but they don't make a public spectacle of it or say rude things. Why are other men unable to reel it in? Because they choose not to?

Butts are where poop comes out. I'm not exactly sure what the allure is. It's a strange phenomenon. Breasts are used to feed babies... and yet, we're told that these body parts are to be considered nothing but sexual. We are one screwed up human race! I blame those stinkin' Kardashians. (I'm kinda kidding. Kinda.)
