I don't know the name but there is a spray product that shoe stores put on shoes before they put them in a shoe stretcher. It is some kind of a conditioner which allows leather to stretch. Otherwise, I've got nothing.

Okay, thanks. I'll find out if the shoe repair shop has it.

I always put stuffing in my purses when I store them to keep them free of creases.....just use like plastic bags from the market just to keep them puffy...it works very well

Be careful of grocery store bags. Their dye can come off and be difficult to remove. I've had this happen when I left grocery store bags on the kitchen counter and they got wet. The dye was almost impossible to remove. I wouldn't trust a good handbag to them!

Instead, I find brown paper to work fine. Use the kind movers use, you can get at Walmart. It also is more firmer and doesn't break down like grocery store plastic bags.

You can also use a ziplock bag with some air in it. Just zip it most of the way, then blow into it like a balloon and then seal it the rest of the way.

If you can, turn the purse inside out and cover it with a moist towel and CAREFULLY use a steam iron on it. Good luck!!
