I saw a thread about wanting the fedora to come back in style.

I think would like to come back are cotton petticoats. The kind you see peak out from underneath a long skirt from the Victorian times.

Another favorite are those over the top Georgian complicated hairstyles, with those insanely intricate dresses from Versailles. Let's not forget Queen Elizabeth I, history's greatest clothes horse.

Shirt dresses from the 1950s. Long flowing skirts. Preppy clothing from the 1980s.
Kate Winslet's wardrobe from Titanic.

Yes, this! I live in SoCal and travel frequently. Most of the travel is to warm, tropical places abroad and to Hawaii and Florida in the states. It is so hard to find nice summer dresses that have straps wide enough for a decent bra and a slip (if really sheer). Also - sick of all these maxi dresses in hot , unbreathing poly fabrics.

I would love to see the crocheted bun holders like from the 40s that women would wear or pin in their hair to keep their hair from flying all over the place .https://encrypted-tbn1.gstatic.com/i...OKNUvEDYCWjhmg

Ladies wearing hats although they would look pretty silly with the clothes most women wear these days.

In some places, such classic attire still makes regular appearances on special occasions.

Check out Lexington, Kentucky's Spring Meet at Keeneland race course, and of course, Louisville's Kentucky Derby (I am NOT referring to the infield, where anything goes!). Classic preppy attire rules, along with gorgeous hats for the ladies at the Derby.

I so agree.

I also love the fashion of the flapper era. I watch Miss Fisher’s Murder Mysteries just for the clothes & furnishings.

Genuinely pretty shoes made of fine leather (Made in USA, italy or Germany) that are actually comfortable with a proper peeptoe toebox, plenty of room for toes and not pointed. No heel higher than 2".
