You asked: "How do you feel about woman who wear Maxi dresses?"
This sounds like you are asking us to judge women who wear maxi dresses. Impossible to do this. You dont judge a book or try to ask someone's feelings on a woman based on what she wears.
I happen to like them. And maxi skirts and palazzo pants. So comfy, the elastic waistband is forgiving, and nice enough to wear to the office. I would wear them year round if I could.
I disagree about maxis not being for petite women! I'm 5'4 and curvy, a pear shape, and I love them; if anything I feel they make me look longer and leaner. Both of these were also super cheap Forever 21 finds - something like $10 and $17!
I also wear them all the time in the summer and sleep in others, plus I wear better made ones on days that I teach for a more professional look. I have them from wild tropical colors to stripes to plain.
I am big on top and have broad shoulders. Basically the daily ones are like super long tank tops down to the ankles. I don't wear them too tight at this age. One reason I like them is I can't stand anything tight on my waist.
I am thinking of bringing one on my vacation but hoping it doesn't wrinkle too much as there is a lot of material to iron. I hate ironing especially on vacation. Maxi styles seem to be great when you want to eat a meal and not feel your clothes tighten during dinner.
I don't like driving in long skirts. Maxi's may be okay for vacation wear, but otherwise they don't fit in to my lifestyle. I much prefer shorter dresses for most occasions. You don't see maxies much in either Hawaii or Oregon, which are the places I live.
