What are the differences between pants, slacks, trousers, khakis and chinos?
Also; what are the differences between a suit jacket, blazer, and a sport jacket (I think its also sometimes erroneously called a "sport coat").

For a guy, pants are the lower half of a suit or a pair of dressy bottoms; slacks are usually made of cotton, as chinos or other medium weight fabric, and they can come in several basic colors. A blazer is usually navy blue, with gold or silver buttons and is a sort of dressy/casual garment which is worn with contrasting color pants.
A jacket would be a similar garment, that has no matching pants, topping slacks or pants, that is made to be worn in a less dressy occasion than would be a suit. You often see jackets worn with jeans, as well.
