I need polarized sunglasses for work. Good ones cost at least $150. My current pair was a bit more.

Otoh, I have never lost a pair of sunglasses and they tend to last 5 yrs or more.

Oakleys polarization is of higher quality than Nike or underarmour. Badly polarized lenses can causes headaches or eye strain.

Oakleys are manufactured in California with some parts supplied from foreign suppliers.

I'd pay upwards of 150 for good sunglasses.(staring at the computer screen, Kinkytoes says) My vision is precious. I don't want wrinkles around my eyes or cataracts if possible. I have prescription and regular sunglasses.

I have 3 pairs of Oliver Peoples shades; they run between $400-$500/pair.

I've always appreciated a nice pair of sunglasses, I can just afford better ones now.

I once spent about $5000 on my sunglasses collection. Mainly Oakleys because they were the most innovative brand. Today I think they're starting to lose it because they're not making as many high end models like they have in the past. They are still the leader but I haven't bought a new pair in 2-3 years. The good thing is a couple of good pairs I bought sold for more than what I paid for.

I don't think Ray Ban is designer. But I do have one Ray Ban reading glasses for $120 for the frame.
For designer reading glasses, I have Tom Ford for $400.
But I still like my RayBan more.

We need our things in life that make us happy. Sunglasses are better than gambling, heroin and prostitutes. Now those are guilty pleasures.🤗
