My workplace is very casual and practically no dress code. So yes, I wear shorts literally 8-9 months out of the year. I have not put on pants for at least 6 months.
I won't wear pants until there is snow on the ground. What are your limits?

I'm close to going back to jeans, with the 40s at night but usually hold off until below 55 in the daytime. I can't wear shorts at work, but change to them when I get home, and on the weekends.
On the other hand, I see the guys at church wearing shorts in the winter. I think they even wear them when it snows - flip flops and shorts while they are directing traffic. I get frostbite even thinking about it!
I wear shorts when it's uncomfortably hot. But I don't wear them except in the house and yard. If I'm being seen on the street or the shops, I'll wear capris.
We all wear shorts on vacation and I have four pair that are quite modest. I've had them for several years but only wear them for a week a year so they don't need to be replaced.

I stopped wearing shorts outside of athletic application when I started middle school.
Within athletic application, I wear different kinds of sports shorts for an hour or so most days.
