Are dreadlocks popular in Los Angeles?

People have dreads in LA?

I know in Florida dreads and braids are popular but what about Los Angeles? Or mostly over 95% people not into dreads and braids in Los Angeles?

My cousin and great aunt are in town from Los Angles, I could ask them. It shouldn't really matter, though. I was actually a little irratated to see them gaining popularity here in Louisville, when I started mine. I did it anyway, because I was tired of the maintainance my afro needed, despite how popular it was. Last summer the Box was trying to make a comeback, even saw a groovecut.

It just I hear by some people that dreadlocks are not popular in Los Angles like they are in Florida.

I was not sure if that was true or not.

It is probably more popular in San Francisco than Los Angles.
