Should I buy a new set of pearl earings?- Jewerly Advice (coloring, girl)

Hello Fashion board, first time poster here.

I gave my lovely girlfriend a set of pearls from macys- necklace, bracelet, and earrings. All of the pearls match and look wonderful together. The set was around $600.

She loves the set, but really adores the earrings. So much that she is wearing them everyday, to the office, at home, ect. She wants to save the bracelet and necklace for special occasions.

I am a little worried about her discoloring or wearing out the earrings, since she plans on wearing them so often. I heard it can make them look different than the set.

My options are to either ignore it, or go buy a separate pair of earing she can wear everyday. What are some thoughts?

do both, don't worry about how they wear and buy her another pair. black pearls are very nice too! glad she loved hem.

You do not have to micromanage your gf's jewelry, pearls or not.

Let this alone. That she chooses to wear the pearl earring so often is a tribute to how much she loves them.

You've given the gift. You do not get to tell your gf when to wear it.

She wouldn't like your suggestion of alternate earrings. She's wearing them because she obviously loves them, so I wouldn't worry about it. The poster above gave you good advice on the care of them.
