So, I’m old. I can’t believe how late I am to the whole body wash thing. We’ve always been bar soap people, and we’ve always had a bath brush. I didn’t like to use the brush because the one we had did not get good lather with the soap.
I bought myself a bath brush with a scruffy on the end and some yummy smelling body wash and I’m a new woman. Highly recommend.

I started using body wash fifteen or so years ago when I lived in a place with a clear shower door. Bar soap always left it looking filmy. I don't like those poof things, though.

With a textured door or a shower curtain, I still like bar soap.

I started to use body wash 15 or so years ago in winter when my skin would get dry and soap was too drying. I switched to body wash exclusively in the past couple of years because the change of life has made my dry skin even drier

I buy the extra moisturizing ones and they leave my skin feeling much better than soap...and no itchy dry skin

I've always really liked Dove. I've always had all sorts allergies, rashes, hives, and whatever the heck, but Dove never gave me a problem.

I've been using body wash for as long as it's been available. I hate loofahs. A clean washcloth each time is better.

Well, as long as we’re sharing—

I have used body wash, but I stopped because I think bar soap is less expensive. One of my favorite things is buying interesting soaps when they are on sale at Whole Foods, and saving them. I choose which one to open, when I need. I just opened a freah bar this week.

I don’t scrub my difficult, dry skin. I do apply Cetaphil freely, especially in the winter months.

Been using body wash for 20+ years. In the UK the bottles have hangers so you can hang them from the shower rail or fixture, I have one that I refill and use in our camper, at home I'm stuck with the huge bottle that I invariably drop at least once before getting the top open

Hubby uses bar soap in a loofah type thing that suds up nicely, can't quite convert him to the whole skooshie thing.

I’ve been using the body wash since it came out. I used to use a puff, but I switched to a body brush about 10 years ago.

My skin is much less dry than it used to be. And the brush feel more effective for me than the poofs. Now I get natural bristle brushes.

Prefer body wash in situations where you have no idea who else may have used a bar of soap.

I use Niveah body wash instead of bar soap....much less drying. even though the scruffy makes great suds, I prefer a clean washcloth every day....just seems more sanitary.
