Usually it's women who go crazy, like the Barbie twins, but look at these French male twins who used to be very handsome and were famous many years ago. Now they are grotesque.
There have been weird stories about twins over the years not having to do with surgery. I recall a pair of gynecologists in NYC decades ago. Anyone remember them?
There are plenty of non twins who go down the path of grotesque cosmetic surgery and surgeons willing to do the work. Jocelyn Wildensteinis went through years of surgery trying to look like a cat.
The article says, the French twins have a genetic disease. This actually makes sense, in view of their statement, that they have some kind of royal heritage from Austria and well as Russia. There is (or was) a known genetic disease in certain high-born lineages in parts of Western Europe, that caused the chin to become exaggerated and deformed-looking, said to be the result of inbreeding. I've seen photos of royalty from eras long past that displayed that deformity.

One of the most extreme would have to be Anna and Lucy from Australia. They were on botched a few years ago, then a show called extreme sisters a few months ago. They share a job at a nursing home, have the exact plastic surgery and share the same man for the last 10 years. They're both trying to get pregnant at the same time. The 1st try didn't work.
They're actually very likable. They were the most extreme on the show. There was another set of identical twins married to identical twins on the show but they're not extreme like Anna and Lucy. Brittany and Briana Deane married to identical twin brothers Josh and Jeremy Salyers. They had baby boys 3 months apart who are genetically brothers and cousins at the same time. They're considered quantinary twins.
