I have been looking at Bealls Florida's website, and while the traditional department stores are in full fall/winter mode (even in warm climates), it seems that Bealls Florida is restocking spring/summer 2019 merchandise. I wonder, do the fashion companies sell their unsold spring/summer merchandise to them? I think this could be a smart idea for the fashion companies, since Bealls Florida could sell it at a higher price for the Florida market instead of having to sell the unsold inventory at clearance prices in traditional department stores or selling the inventory to off-price stores.
