Good T shirt brands are dropping like flies!

All my old favourites, like Ann Taylor, Eddie Bauer, Lands End, Banana Republic have switched over to super thin or super shrinky fabric. Are there any companies still making thicker Tshirts? I'm just looking for simple T shirts.

(Lands End is thick, but shrinks so much lengthwise that they're unwearable. Eddie Bauer appears to have made the switch this year)

Thank you for this post!! I totally agree and will be watching to see what others suggest. I stopped buying Lands End (you are right - they shrink lengthwise horribly!) and Eddie Bauer, too.

Duluth Trading Co. They also have elbow-length sleeves on their tees.

One more vote for Duluth!! Tees are soft, longer so they stay tucked into pants, and wear forever.

Are Duluth's clothes true to size or do we need to order smaller or bigger?

Good question! Since Duluth Trading is getting votes here, I want to try them, too.

Hey, just saw your question. Yes, I order mediums for most all my shirts from there. Occasionally they will have a style that has a snug fit, but it will be in the description. I had to get a hoodie in a large due to the manufacturer's sizing, and it was perfect. Like I said, read descriptions carefully. They have a size chart on their site too. Love their stuff.
I think you get free shipping on $50 or more.

Any thoughts on where to get cotton T's that aren't long? I'm petite and don't choose/want to wear t's that are that long - from the pics. they look like better quality but all I can find now are LONG T's.
