I have one pore on my nose that looks dark because it's big and has a hair in it. I've looked at it with magnifiers and I cannot cut or shave it, it's too short. Can anyone recommend a way to remove it? I could go for electrolysis I guess but would rather take care of it myself. Thank you

I guess you could try a hair remover...something like Nair, maybe? But if it's not too short for tweezers, I'd try tweezers first, because then you could get it out by the follicle, and it won't grow back.

I'll see if I can grab it, it will be hard. I've never pulled a hair out that way

Use a warm washcloth on the area before you tweeze - it will make it easier to grab the pesky hair.

Some hair won't grow back after tweezing, other hair will grow back over and over.

I over tweezed my brows as a teen; they've never grown back. But my annoying mole hair has grown back literally hundreds of times. I've tweezed it about once a month for 40-some years.

If it's very short, it might be easier to grab if you use a magnifying mirror.

If you can see the direction the hair is growing, take your fingernail and scrape in the opposite direction to see if you can raise the end enough to tweeze it out.
