Her whole channel is pretty cool. The world of historic dress on YouTube is fascinating, quirky, and, at least for me, a rabbit hole I love falling down! If you're into Morgan Donner (the woman in this video - she used to focus more on pre-1600s attire, but now seems to run the gamut), also check out Bernadette Banner (focuses on the Edwardian time period as a professional costumer), and Rachel Maksy (who is more mid-20th century, but just has a lot of fun making and creating across time).
I have never learned to sew beyond basic hemming and buttons, but I dream of having the space (i.e. not a 1 bedroom apartment) to try out some of what these women come up with.
I always thought women didn't bob their hair until the Roaring Twenties. I was surprised they did it in 'olden days.'
