Ok, I just turned 50. My friends say I look like I am 40. I never really got into using too many skin care products throughout my life. I tried a few products from MLM's like Avon, Amway, and such but ended up passing on them due to inconvenience to obtain when the distributor gives up on it and doesn't sell it anymore. I end up using what I pick up from hotels which some seem nice others actually irritate my face or too smelly.
I have noticed that my skin is changing a bit and my hands seem to be showing signs of aging more then anything else. They seem to be showing more wrinkles and loose then before. also noticed I have more prenounced lines on my brow and some dark circles under the eyes as well though I get plenty of healthy rest.
At 50 I am more consious about my health then ever before as per diet and excersie. That being said I thought I would put more effort to my skin. I have looked at all kinds of skin care products in shoppiing malls from Aveda, Clinique, to some exotic stuff from Isreal (Dead Sea) skin care products which seemed extremly expensive! I don't mind spending a bit more but the stuff has to provide results without being too expensive. Any thoughts or recomendations here?
That being said I was curious what products are the best for a mans skin?
I am 30, and believe hole heartedly in preservation. I use a few products..... They're not the cheapest, but work wonders. Below is the list of products, application process, and where to find them. Hope this helps!
In order.
Facial cleaner: Zirh "Cleanse" use daily Purchase at Sophora or Macy's
Facial scrub: Anthony (use 2 times a week) Sophora
Astringent: Anthony (green bottle) use daily Sophora
Lotion: Anthony "All purpose facial moisturizer" use daily sophora
Lastly, I almost never shave. I use clippers, so I wear a bit of "scruff" on my face. As a result I'm VERY sensitive to razors, when I do shave. The two best shaving creams I've EVER used are: Art of shaving, and E. E isn't easy to find, but A of S can be purchased at bloomingdales.
I've tried a lot of products and found this to be the best. If you have any questions, or need other suggestions, don't hesitate to ask!!
