I don't care for it either, I tried it when it first came out (online there was a "deal" for $1/product - free shipping) - I see why it's priced for $1. I don't use expensive cosmetics either: regular L'Oreal, Revlon, Maybelline, etc. - but I just don't see what the hype is for e.l.f.
Its the studio brushes that are 50% off and the make-up too. Not the dollar brushes/regular make-up. The studio line make-up, if anyone wants to try that, came out in November 2008 (I do believe.)
I also have seen good reviews on the eye cream duo as a base. The cheap-o eyelash curler (I liked)
You may want to watch some reviews on the brushes. There were a few studio brushes I skipped buying this time or they just didn't work right (fan brush, sm.precision )
But really this thread was for people who wanted to try it with a deal...Not for people to spread their negativity all over it. Its starting to get annoying. Just saying you don't like something that has so many products without going into why is just negative and useless.
I just don't want anyone to waste their money... I would appriciate info like this if I were going to purchase something online...Moreso any opinions on make-up. Giving an opinion is not negative or useless...You just don't like it. I would never waste money on make up that sold at Targer for a buck and they had issues clearing from their stores. Sorry.
There are reasons for not liking things. Just not liking them "because" its the kind of info you get out of 5 year olds when you try to get them to eat vegetables. If you don't have a logical reason that you can categorize then you are just being contrary. Anyone who knows make-up and brushes finds cost effective gems in various lines. So if you tried every single product they have on every single skin type and shade and can actually share why you don't like them please do.
