this is all because of the stigma against short people. i think small people are cute and take up less space. this trend should be reversed so that tall people feel awkward and too big.
How about not having a stigma against anyone instead?
Excellent article. I plan on having this procedure in early 2013 to gain the same amount of height. 5'7 to 5'10. I can completely relate to this woman's former problem. When you are short, people will ridicule you and not take you so seriously. It's something the average to tall person has no understanding of (meaning how it is to be us).
Are you serious???
3 fricken inches and you think you will be taken more seriously....
How shallow.
Find another doctor who will increase your B&LL size..
Oh whatshername looks great, she better pray that she doesn't come up with complications that will ruin her body forever.....
Osteomyelitis.
Infections or improper healing of incision site..YUCK..
WAAAY too risky....

I know this is an old thread and posts, but I can't believe someone thinks tall people should be made to feel awkward!?! Some people have no freakin' clue!

Dear, sweet Michael - men don't need to be any particular size or shape to be taken seriously. Just ask Bernie Ecclestone, seen in the photo linked here, with his wife of 24 years, Slavica:
A poor self-image is not something that painful elective surgery can fix.
Sshhhh! That's what plastic surgeons will have you believe.
