I bought the Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Dry-Touch Sunblock SPF 100+. So far I am liking it. It is very light weight and can hardly feel it on. Good smell to it and it had very good reviews.

Coppertone Sport Continuous Spray SPF 100+ was very heavy and it felt like you have glue on your skin so I returned it.

Does it really protect you from anti-aging? What have been your experiences?

Does it protect you from getting darker? Can it make your skin lighter?

the only sunscreen that i've had good luck with is the spray on type. lotions rub off way too easily. only problem with it is that, despite it being labelled "sport", it creates such a solid film on your skin that it's not breatheable and can make you overheat during physical activity in hot weather.

Anything over 30 SPF is really a waste of money and doesn't give you any significant additional protection. The trick is to apply 30 mins. before you get in the sun. Then, you must reapply every 2 hours! Even the so-called "water proof" or "sweat proof" sunscreens aren't WIPE proof...so if you wipe off water or sweat, you've wiped off the sunscreen! An adult requires 1 oz (a shotglass full) every 2 hours for max. protection.

Any brand will do if it has the proper SPF. It will not make you whiter. It will prevent you from getting darker!

I use Banana Boat 110 SPF spray. I don't like how shiny it makes my arms, but it gets the job done and it doesn't sweat off during my bike ride.

Sunscreen will not make you lighter.

Some people say that the higher SPF sunscreens don't do anything extra, but I burn after about 15 minutes with 30 SPF and I can make it an hour with the 110 SPF, so I guess different things work for different folks.

Neutrogena is the spray one also.

The price does not change when it gets up to 100spf anyway.
Every 2 hours? That is a lot of work. I don't spend time in much sun though.

I step out of my home and then into my car. My car is tinted so it has UVA/UVB on all windows.

No difference from 100 to 110 right? You are a woman so it good that it makes it shiny right? You like the smell of it? I like the smell of Neutrogena because it is not strong.

Sunscreen will not lighten your skin. All it does is temporarily block damaging UV rays.
