Why don't you post a pic of the bottle? Someone here might recognize it and be able to help you.

Ooh my Mom use to wear Rive Gauche in the 80s and it made me nauseated lol. Hey do ya'll remember Love's Baby Soft? Talk about throwbacks fragrances...
Somehow Avon perfumes always seem to have that same undercurrent scent in every single one of them. It just always smells like... Avon.

Lol, I used to love Rive Gauche. My older brother's girlfriend always smelled so nice, so I asked her what she wore. It was Rive Gauche. Years later, for nostalgia's sake, I bought it again. Not so much. lol And she also used baby lotion. To this day, every so often I still use baby lotion for a moisturizer. Smells so good. lol

Love's Baby Soft was targeted for teens, which I was at the time, and, going by the description of it, I always wanted to like it, but I didn't. Smelled too powdery and/or... cheap.

I did use Jean Nate, but I'm pretty sure I tried that again later, too, and it was sorta hideous. lol

Default Trying to find an old favorite

I am looking for the name/maker of a fragrance from at least the 1970's. The bottle was shaped like a short bell, concave on the bottom, ribbed all around, clear/opaque glass. The bottle was 3"-4" tall with a silver cap in a tall, narrow cylindrical shape. I drew a picture but can't see where to upload it. I believe the name began with an A and I'm pretty sure it was by Prince Matchabelli. I've tried to search their containers but no luck. I did draw a picture but can't see where to upload it.
