How about a cute and comfy pair of Mary Jane's? Try Keen and Merrell.

Thank you so much everyone for your replies and opinions
Thank you also for all the shoe links- all are adorable, look comfortable and are trendy ( all 3 of which I'm looking for ) but I need a shoe with some height- otherwise I will be stepping on the hems of my jeans all day.

Maybe I should go with this or something similar -
It's so cute Only thing you can't even try this certain one on in this store but maybe another local store would have it. This shoe/brand has really good reviews given too- everyone is saying how comfortable this brand is

Some very feminine peep toe shoes in a funky color or pattern.

My wife (also when rearing the kids) would wear either a sandal or a leather shoe, either one with a shorter heel. Kinda sorta like this Naturalizer Digby at Zappos.com (http://www.zappos.com/product/7562915/color/206888 - broken link) . But never a trainer shoe.

Well you said in your post that you did NOT want a heel...that is why we suggested the shoes that we did. Why are you wearing such long pants if you want comfortable low-heeled shoes?

I love the jeans, what brand are they? I have a jean obsession--not that I need yet another pair...

Like all the shoe links too. I have a couple of the flats posted myself. Its nice to have a heeled one too though and I don't think sketchers are a bad choice over 15 myself, nor do I think a heeled pump would make the jean look hookerish.

Thanks,
Those jeans are Big Star Maddie 19.
They have them at the store- Buckle or atleast they use to because that is where I got them from.

What type of shoes do you all wear with jeans like this? I'm with kids all day for work/on my feet- so high heels are definitely out of the question. I want to look trendy and nice (not frumpy) but also have to be comfortable for all day wear.

Thanks.

I need some height with shoes but not a "pair of high heels" as those wouldn't be practical nor comfortable and I have to wear long length jeans because I'm 5' 9"- otherwise the jeans aren't long enough in length.
