I have a tripped planned to NY in mid April. I'm sure it will be too warm for boots there but what about peep toe pumps. Will it be too cool? What are women wearing in New York in April. I will be coming from Atlanta so while peep toes might be perfect here it may look silly in New York at that time. I don't want to look crazy. Maybe I should just wear a regular pump?
Open toe in any season in NY = dirty feet. If you go with open toe, bring your baby wipes. I would throw some walkable flats in a bag too no matter what.
No it's not too early to wear open toe in NY. Go ahead wear them, I'll be visiting my hometown NY this Friday from Charlotte and will be rocking peep toes as well as sandals.
Peep toes are now worn all year just about everywhere. The weather is nice in NYC so there should not be a problem for you. However, if you are going to do a lot of walking, make sure that you have comfortable shoes.
Open toe shoes are fine, you can wear them year round. Just keep in mind the appropriate style for the season, but it really comes down to personal taste. As long as you are comfortable, go for it!
