Just kidding.

It is 40 dollars for an annual membership to the Botanical Garden in Fayetteville.

Crystal Bridges museum also has trails and gardens that are free but not called a Botanical Garden.

Really Im asking for lots of information on the both of them. Have you visited both? Do you have pictures?

Spring is already underway!

I plan to come back for another visit in a few weeks when you Fayetteville Farmers Market is back open outdoors.

And yes I think I will be moving to Fayetteville when my lease is up this July!

I've visited the Botanical Garden when I lived there and it was very pleasant. The Fayetteville Farmer's Market is the best I've ever been to in the country. Sadly they opened Crystal Bridges after I moved away.

So just visit both, and enjoy!

The $40 for BGO is great for families because it allows you entrance to lots of special events at the Botanical Gardens, lots of kid-friendly stuff, for example.

I think the general grounds of Crystal Bridges are more beautiful, but they are two different things. The BGO is focused on plants and designs and events, whereas the grounds of CB are more about trails, nature intermingled with arts.

I drive past the botanical gardens everyday but haven't been, maybe I'll finally do it this weekend. Have walked around CB grounds several times.

We lived just a few miles down the road from the Botanical Gardens and rode our bikes on their trails regularly. We also went to Crystal Bridges and walked the trails. They are both beautiful -- Crystal Bridges especially Spring and Fall. The Farmer's market is something about Fayetteville we really miss (that and Richard's meat market). That whole NW Arkansas area is really pretty.

I still have visited neither, unless you count a walk on the trails by the Bridges "visiting". I should.

I did both places this morning. Yeah they are kind of hard to compare because they are so different, one being gardens the other basically being a system of trails. Was hoping to go in the museum as well but it was closed.
Interacted with the museum staff twice and was called ma'am both times. Talked to an old woman at BG and she asked me why I moved to Fayetteville. I told her I came here to transition and she said "transition to what" and I was like "male to female" and she was like "well Fayetteville is a good place for it". So no gender issues at either place.
CB was free while BG cost me $7. $7 was a little much for the 20-30 minutes it took me to look at everything, but it might be better if you went while most plants are actually growing lol.
So here are pics, here are the ones from BG, I'll put CB in another post. The wind was blowing my hair around pretty bad and its at an awkward length where it get in the way but I can't put it all in a ponytail.

Crystal Bridges, the wind had died down a lot by the time I got there.

Ha! Im glad I inspired you to take them both in. They are different from each other but both good. Yeah, little early in the season for the full growth. Ill be coming in April where it should be very green. But ya know April showers bring May flowers, so maybe that is the best time.
