I am missing my tank since my move, i did bring a nice fish bowl with an air pump, don't laugh, since i order everything else online why not a goldfish? anyone have this information? typing with one hand as how it is cold today and the weiners are crowding my lap
My daughter has a huge saltwater tank...in fact, she has 3 of them. She has ordered everything from octopus, to anemones on line. She even orders the crabs she feeds the Octo to on-line. They overnight to her...and so far, she has never had any problem. It's done all the time.
foster & smith is good - liveaquaria.com saltwaterfish.com too
I like sealifeinc.net for snails, crabs, etc - they don't make you pay for overnight shipping if it's not necessary and cheap prices!

Those sights will be useful to me too. They don't ship the fish in winter, do they? They would freeeze!

My guess is they do! That is why it is overnighted and you better be home to receive them! She is in Utah...and just received a order of crabs to feed her octo. Best to ask the company tho!
They can put heatpacks in the container so the fish don't get too cold. If you are shipping a goldfish though they like the colder waters and should be fine. I will have to say that I would NOT keep a goldfish in a bowl. They are very dirty and grow fast, each goldfish needs at LEAST 40g.
