I'm looking for a good safe place for me to put up my 27 foot travel trailer so that I can live in a while I serve a year of volunteerism in central Flagstaff.

I tried to find a place to rent but its out of control on the rent prices. especially for those that are volunteering and are given a fixed income stipend.

Any help would be greatly welcomed as this is a great opportunity to do volunteerism and be apart of the Flagstaff community. Just need to find a place to call home for a year

Last time I was there we stayed at the KOA campground and they had some folks that rented by the month there.

Have a generator or a solar setup? Are you able to boondock?

Boondocking for a year? That takes a lot of commitment! There are several RV parks in and around Flag. A few phone calls should get you what you need. Just be sure your pipes are well insulated in your RV. It gets really cold there and you don't want them to freeze.

Thanks everyone!

Could not find an RV park for my vintage travel trailer to park and volunteer for a year.

My poor 1977 HiLo was being aged discriminated against.

Sad, isn't it.

Have a good summer!

Perhaps put an ad on Craigslist, looking for a private landowner who would rent you a space with hookups, or someone who is looking for a caretaker for their land/home.

Best of Luck to you...
