I have a problem with the facts about Flagstaff, AZ according to information I found online and what is the truth. According to your data its listed at 6,910 ft above sea level, yet on the U.S.G.S. in Flagstaff and at the KOA in Flagstaff,AZ the marker says 7,250, also I rented house on the upper rim off the grid on Moon Crater and the Top Maps show it being at 7,300 ft high, Somewhere there is a mistake or you all do it differently there. Also that Flagstaff AZ should be listed as a Metropolotian area or City.

I believe the mistake is on your end because you aren't looking at the most logical explanation. If Flagstaff were perfectly flat, one or all of those numbers would be off, but that's not the case. In other parts of the world, Paris "is" 115 feet above sea level (though the Montmartre district peaks at 425 feet, Montparnasse at 217 feet); San Francisco "is" 52 feet above sea level (though Mt. Davidson crests at 928 feet, Telegraph Hill stands at 275 feet, Fisherman's Wharf is at sea level); and Lima "is" about 500 feet above sea level (though the entire city ranges from sea level to nearly 5,100 feet).

In sum: you're considering one point (likely around a city hall) and seem to not understand that elevation actually does change within city limits.

Go with an average of 7000' for Flagstaff!

Elevations within a town's city limits can change. Prescott for example has elevation changes depending on where you are at of some 600'.
AZ after all is not the mid West. We have hills and mountains!

It all depends on where you take your elevation data. East Flagstaff (where the KOA is) is higher than Downtown Flagstaff. Areas north of Flagstaff (like Fort Valley) are even higher. Pulliam is right around 7000 I believe. Flagstaff is a mountain city and, as others have mentioned, is not flat and does not have a uniform elevation throughout the city.

Flagstaff is a city. I guess you could consider the Flagstaff area to be a "metro area" if you want to include the numerous small cities and towns in the area, although that might be a bit of a stretch.

As Colt Cassidy mentioned, most locals just say its at 7000 feet.
