My wife told me to Flagstaff this Sunday said and there is snow on the ground through the 180 and Humphreys are covered with it. This could be an indicator of a much snowery Winter than last year. What do you all think?

Was really surprised to see they had 6" of heavy wet snow at Snowbowl this morning. Had same thought that, maybe, it'll be a snowy winter. That would make the ski folks happy! Odd they should get snow this early though.

Had quite a bit of rain here last night and again this morning. Was very heavy but only lasted about 15 min. each time.

The ENSO forecast is talking about a 75% probability of El Niño activity this winter, so yeah. It'll be warmer and wetter.

One of my friends posted pics on Facebook. Unfortunately I am computer illiterate enough I don't know how to put them here. Take my word, though, the do exist! Some were Flagstaff, some between Hwy 89 and Camp Verde and some between Strawberry and Mormon Lake.

We got almost two inches in Lakeside yesterday. Was really snowing good at times. Mostly melted off by this morning though.
