You mean the GOP made California pay correction officers six-figure salaries or let welfare recipients cash out at strip clubs?

Sorry, but when real business experience includes fraud and pleading the 5th, you don't get my vote.

He wants to cut the budget for state employees, who have not had a raise in years. Tell me how that's going to create jobs? Not paying state employees what they are worth does not send you or your neighbor to work...maybe your taxes will be less, but it doesn't create jobs.

Idiot ! With a democratic majority ! A republican governor is useless with extreme liberals like this. And California was in bad shape with the former governor too (a democrat, gray davis)
But now a new democratic governor will come, jerry brown, and that will be ugly.
I'm not dem or rep, I think independant ! And I can't see how Alex Sink could have saved this state, more spending isn't the solution in this moment.

If you want to see an example of a competent republican governor cleaning up a democratic mess of a state, look no further than Governor Christie in NJ.
California started digging the hole we are in now back when Ronald Reagan was governor. We've had plenty of Republican governors and all of them were into deficit spending.

It's the Republican M.O. and then when they're no longer in office and leave a pile of **** for the Democrat to clean up, they and their supporters are the most verbal critics. Gotta love the party of hypocrisy!

You don't know the California's history ! These spendinfs started with Jerry Brown in the 70s, he supported public unions massively, and he's governor again...You can expect tough times for California these next years...
