Hello everyone. I'm originally from Miami FL but I moved to Utah a few months ago. I'm just finishing up my last semester of High school and then I plan on moving back home to Florida(Don't very much like the weather and the Mormon culture here).

I'm undecided on where to move though. I'm looking for somewhere with a decent community college(don't got the grades to go to a good university just yet.),affordable apartments, and a good Baptist community.Definitely don't wanna go back to South Florida! I was thinking maybe somewhere near Tallahassee or maybe Pensacola? Any ideas?

Tallahassee has Tallahassee Community College, where a lot of people go before they transfer into FSU. Pensacola has UWF, but I'm sure they have a community college as well. It won't be hard to find Baptist communities in or between the two cities. This is the South, after all.

Pensacola has Pensacola Junior College (PJC), and then there's Olive Baptist Church, one of the biggest around.

Among the Panhandle communities, Ft. Walton Beach has the Baptists, a good community college, and a fair number of service industry jobs where you can work around school schedules.

The down side is housing- more expensive than Pensacola, and the military is moving in a whole bunch of people here this summer, which is probably going to make finding decent housing a bit on the hard side.

Tallahassee is a good choice as it has a large community college and then FSU and FAMU are both there if you decide to go further in your education. Housing in Tallahassee is really cheap especially if you can find a roommate.
