I spent about 8mnths living in PC w my husband about 2 years ago and we loved it.
we are now back in my hometown in NY, but are wanting to move back to Bay County sometime next year.
We now have a daughter who will be just about 3 yrs old when we make the move - my question is do you think this is a good/safe area to raise a child?
I know the beach gets crazy around spring break, but I'm not sure of quality of local schools, or even the number of children in the area.
any help is appreciated! thanks!

If it helps one of the reasons I want to move back is the FL bright futures scholarship program( Ive heard mixed reviews about it - hopefully it doesnt implode before she's a HS senior) and we know my husband can transfer there w his job, and keep the same pay.
