Personally, If I were to chose a school around NOLA, I'd chose LSU. It's only an hour away and not nearly as high priced as Tulane, Although UNO would also be a good choice.
(I also have lived in the greater New Orleans area)

As a Gator grad I must begrudgingly admit that FSU now has the edge in the category of hot female student body. That is not to say UF does not have ALOT of pretty girls. It may have fallen behind FSU but that's like saying well, you fell behind FSU in Football. The on campus sex appeal on these 2 campuses is like their respective football programs, even in an off year we're still a national powerhouse. That being said, years ago when I was on campus, UF was top rate when it came to beautiful coeds. Since the increased admissions standards and decrease in students admitted we have fallen off a little.
