Florida just dropped the PARCC because there was too much "Federal intrusion". The tea party wins gain in the god forsaken state of Florida.

Florida leads the nation in Education. That's why Florida needs it's own, internal, assessments. After all why be held to some standards made by a know-nothing bureaucrat in DC?

The high quality Florida educational system should not be subjected to outsider manipulation.

Cave you say? Why this proclamation came from the cradle of Florida's advanced civilization- The Governors office. Clearly Florida does not want to be held back by the distant and meddling other states in this union. It says so in the letter sent to the union capitol in DC.

Florida spends very little on education, low graduation rates and has low SAT scores. Sounds #1 to me!

Well, first they go to pain management for their obligatory Oxy prescription then when they lose their job and insurance they take Meth Lab 101 and start cooking to keep the party rolling. Face picking and teeth loss at no additional charge!!

Are you serious? I don't mean to sound rude..I will give that there are some good schools but seriously?

As good as our schools are in NC which they are, I could never say that we have the highest quality of schools compared to other states because we don't...I grew up in NYC Schools and kids went to NJ Schools and I will keep my comments to myself, but I had a great education back in the day..

Serious. Who needs Federal conspiracies like the SAT, when you have real world leaders with 'facts'.

Florida Leads Mega States | StudentsFirst.org

The founding fathers never took the liberal's SAT..
