That is called moving the goal posts. Regardless of which he likely works many more hours than you do, on a salary to boot so I'm not that concerned with him surfing the net while at work.

Look I don't care if he was having and affair. That was between him and him wife. He wasn't in public lambasting gays or others for their morals so I certainly won't do that to him. I think he is a piece of crap for cheating on his spouse, regardless of his reasons, but that is a result of my distaste of what he did for myself to judge for my own actions, not because he actually did it. The people using that site were scum in my eyes and acted out of weakness. Their affairs have been exposed and now they have to deal with it. I see no reason to drag it public unless they made themselves out to be a hypocrite in public. Duggars come to mind.

Some how I doubt his over zealousness in the Anthony case going for murder when no intent could be proven had nothing to do with his affair and more to do with public / private pressure. Rail on him for that, not because he slipped his pecker in some other broad.
Didjoo even read the article? I didn't move any goal posts. HE says he never acted on anything, never had an affair, he was just curious and he made a mistake, and he did surf the site during working hours. I believe him. He's a public prosecutor. He goes after people for crimes against the state. He's supposed to set a good example.

I see a career as a divorce attorney in his future.

So he says. Admits to surfing, but didn't hook up. If he's being truthful about it.

But he's far from alone in this sort of thing. Others have done much worse, at the federal level porn surfing is some sort of epidemic. Of course, that's assuming the guy was just playing peekaboo at Ashley Madison and isn't in the big leagues, like some of these guys.

When it comes to a public prosecutor, the police hate when this happens, because sometimes it can blow a case based on technicalities, or even re-open past cases. It can even disqualify the guy from prosecuting certain types of crimes, like sex crimes or cyber crimes. It's all legal technical stuff, and I don't pretend to understand all the ins and outs of it (no pun intended) but defense lawyers drool over this sort of thing. That's why it gets problematic.

Well, now I WILL move the goalposts. If it will hinder him in the ability to effectively prosecute cases within the scope of the law, he'll have to step down. If he's a responsible prosecutor, I'm sure he's considering this right now. And it is also very possible that he's seeking counsel of others in the system, such as judges and other prosecutors. It's also possible that he's not seeking counsel, but others are offering it. Who knows? We'll have to wait and see. I would say that if nothing happens within the next couple of weeks, there's probably no cause for concern, he just peeked on the taxpayers' dime. Then again, sometimes these things unravel unexpectedly and morph into something else entirely.

I am sure since it was on the taxpayers dime he was multi tasking probably talking on the phone with the police or the district attorney about who knows what all the while doing that he was also surfing the web looking for a little side action.

LOL! Ashley Madison was bunch of dudes talking to each other, according to data analysis:

Yahoo!

In other words, not many women on the site, but a lot of bogus profiles made up by company employees.

No, I don't think he should. It is his private business, as disgusting as it is.

I am pretty sure you will be heavily outnumbered about if he should step down or not.
