Hi I'm relocating down to Florida from Michigan and Id like to live somewhere in the country but not far from the city or night life. I'm 24 and my idea of going out is line dancing and bars🙈. Does anyone have any suggestions?? Anything is much appreciated!

Florida is a BIG state, first decide general area, then recommendations will be better.

I agree though finding most jobs from out of state is next to impossible. I would highly recommend a minimum of several months worth of savings before moving however. It can take awhile to get a job and "get on your feet".

The Jacksonville area would be a good place to check out. It has a good job market, a lower cost of living than most of the state, and is generally pretty friendly. Country Western music is fairly prominent too.

You will love Panama City. Be sure to bring lots of beer bottles to throw at people on bikes, as this is what drove me out of there (I guess they saved them up from the bars). A pickup truck will be needed for the full effect. Can we say Redneck Rivera? When I remarked on this whilst shopping for a new bike I was told, "It happens. They sell the solution in pawn shops". That seemed a little after the fact in my mind. I didn't stay long enough to explore the job situation, things being what they were, so I can't help you on that one.
