After 9:00 at night, a 2 year old is in 2 feet of water clearly posted with "No Swimming"! signs. Parents must be more aware every minute of dangers of leaving young unattended. It is a horrible tragedy at Disney that this had to have happened! 😩😪😢 🐊

The slaughtered gators will probably end up on people's dinner plates.

Yup. Those "lagoons" which are man-made are disgusting and these parents from out of town prob didn't know that any body of water in FL is at risk of harboring an alligator. The No swimming signs were clearly not enough, they prob need to re-locate the kid's play area away from that lake.

My understanding is that the kid was next to his parents, holding hands. A foot or so of water. Disney has movies on the beaches on the lagoons and encourages people to use them. Most assume no swimming because of boats and what not. This is a horrible, horrible, and tragic incident. Totally unnecessary to blame parents or anyone else.
