My family is relocating to Florida from Kentucky. We have family members in other parts of Florida but none near Suwannee. I'm curious about the weather patterns for this area since its northern Florida. Is there snow? Expect lots of wet days? Any help would be appreciated.

No snow, but maybe every 100 years. Expect hot and dry in May, and unreal humidity and heat from late May till late Sept. We no longer have normal winters as the planet heats up as the last 10 years have been super warm. On normal winters you could expect a few mornings in the mid 20's, not much anymore. As for rain, it is so screwed up due to weather change. You can go months without much and then get 20" in a weeks time. June thru Sept is when you will get the most rain jane.

I wouldn't listen to the global warming conspiracy theorist that replied.
Suwannee is in the northern part of the State, so the weather is relatively mild compared to central and south Florida. A dusting if snow is not uncommon, just don't expect to see kids having snow ball fights. You can also expect frost in the winter.
I can't speak too confidently about rain in that part of the State, but I know at least most of the State gets a daily rain shower in the summer.
As for temps, compared to Kentucky, it may seem hot, but (and this part is important), if you allow your body to adapt to the new climate (as opposed to running for the AC as most wimps from the north do), by your 2nd or 3rd summer here, you will be used to the heat.

Another one with no clue, Who said anything about so called man made warming. Lived here much longer that you and have kept weather records since the 70's and seen temps come up 4.23 degrees on avg. It is much warmer now than it was in the 80's during the winter.
