I am planning to move to Florida and want to hear from people who were on Medicare with Medigap when they moved to Florida.

Were you forced to pick one of the Florida supplementals or stayed with your old one? Did you change your Medigap carrier? Did you have to go thru underwriting?

Did you find any community-rated policies or issue-age, or attained age only?

Please, share your experience. All advice or comment is appreciated!

If your current provider doesn't have a network in Florida, you'll have to switch to a Florida company.

I am with AARP/UHC and am grandfathered into the "F" supplement and it is great but not available anymore. Since it is with AARP my policy is available in FL as it was in my previous state.
