Um... That was her title.
And she has numerous post-grad IT and computer science courses under her belt. She is not some sort of CAD drafter or data-entry worker.

It was reported that on this particular system all users have been sharing a single username and password since inception. No hacking was necessary.

That was/is plain stupid. No she didn't need to "hack" but she did use it illegally regardless as she no longer worked there unless it was open to outsiders to use. If she wished to converse with people she used to work with she should have used her private email or facebook not her former work messaging system. She has a history of stalking and personally I would consider this incident to be "stalking" her former employer.

And yet, the accusation is that she hacked the server. So is law enforcement lying? Or is the faux news lying about the accusations?

They raided her home because they claimed suspicion of hacking government networks and stealing data.

If she had free and available access, then she didn't need to steal anything. If she had the password, she didn't have to hack anything.

So which is it? Did she hack a server? Or did law enforcement lie about why they went there in the first place?

Just because you have a password to something does not mean you have permission to use it and access the data it unlocks.....

The only reason for that cop to have his gun out is if he had reason to believe he was in danger. There was absolutely no suggestion that the woman, her husband or her kids were going to endanger anyone. You can throw away common sense and surrender to fear, that's your right, but don't expect anyone else to support such irrational terror.

Ah, I see the issue. You don't actually understand what hacking is. You have visions of hackers from TV shows with screens covered in code, typing in all sorts of weird commands before the bad guy comes through the door. When in reality most hacking is much simpler... Getting access to login data. Both are hacking. Unauthorized access, regardless of how you get it, is hacking. Now you know.

What makes you think the cop didn't have reason to believe he was in danger? Because she's a woman? She didn't answer the door, etc. She was not cooperating. Many people have guns in Florida.
