Has South Florida (whether Miami-Dade or Broward or Palm Beach counties) been a magnet for members of various ethnic and religious groups - even aside from Orthodox Jews - since the start of the pandemic wanting to flee COVID pandemic restrictions in places like the New York City area and the rest of the Northeast?

In other words, has South Florida attracted Armenian-Americans or Greek-Americans or Italian-Americans from the Northeast - just to give a few examples - the way that it has attracted Orthodox Jews from the Northeast since the pandemic started in March 2020? Or is there something particular about Orthodox Jews - or Jews in general - that has attracted them to South Florida more than members of those other ethnic/religious groups?

I'm basing this question on the following recent article: https://www.jta.org/2021/09/17/unite...ox-new-yorkers

I highly doubt people are making a major move over such a temporary issue, although this country seems to be getting dumber and dumber so who knows?

South Florida has, statistically, become a magnet for people from both the Northeast and California. It’s not because of the pandemic - it’s because people have grown tired of the political climates in states like NY, CT, NJ, etc. And the big difference? It’s not seniors on fixed incomes flocking to Florida - it’s the affluent.
