The $ is coming from U.S. taxayers, China, Japan, (& other countries who hold our debt) & anyone who holds U.S. Treasuries. Some of it is Monopoly money that is printed out of thin air that devalues all the pre-existing dollars already in circulation.

It was supposed to be used by employers to cover payroll during covid, when employers couldn't make payroll, but some fraudsters took advantage of it...like the Florida man did....& Harvard University, for instance, who later returned some of it after being called out on it.

Most will never be caught, & some who are caught, will never be prosecuted to the full extent of the law...like those responsible at Harvard. Some politicians, & those w/ close ties to politicians exploited it as well....you can web search it if you really want to know which ones. We'll never know what % went to employees, who needed it the most, and what % wound up where it was never intended.

Matt Gaetz profited from the paycheck protection program too - the program that gave the loans out. So did Marj Taylor Greene, and a host of republicans who are griping about the student loan relief. They ALL had their loans forgiven, and they were loaned between several tens of thousands, to over two million. But they're all jumping on the "if you borrow money you have to pay it back, period" rant.

So really the only people who have to pay it back, is everyone except themselves.

Why can't you believe it? You can find the information yourself on various official websites, it's public information. And the people railing against it, have been doing so "live" on TV where you can see them saying it in actual speeches and on interviews.

Bingo!! The Fed and Wall Street collusion are the main culprits for our current inflation situation. If Main Street really knew how rigged our economic system, there would be an “angry villagers” with pitchforks scenario.

The biggest bailout occurred right under the nose of the American people from early 2020 until about 3 months ago while we were all arguing over red vs blue politics :rolleyes the only piece of evidence the average uniformed American has of this con game is gas prices and the cost of milk…as a collective, we’ve truly been asleep at the wheel.

Every government program is ripe for fraud. It is far worse when government gives away money no questions asked.

Students are not asked "do you need this student loan for books or tuition?" No, it is a "how much do you want". If you want to fly around the world on that money, nobody even asks.

The PPP program was an epic disaster or fraud, waste, and abuse.

Government misalocates money and criminals take advantage of government inefficiency.

At the end of the day, the only control is to have a government so small that it can't come close to funding everything it wants to. Then it is force to be very stingy about what it funds. There will always be corruption, embezzlement, and graft but on a small sale. When the government controls monstrous trillions of dollars of the people's money, you get hundreds of billions of dollers in fraud and other crimes.

Welcome to America 2022. We went off the rails long before the 1960s, but the cost of corruption and incompetence has gone up 100 fold since then.

I will preface this now - Many will NOT like my comment…oh well.

This is the absolute truth. The fact of the matter is that many Americans, especially those from poor, rural red states (the bread n butter for the GOP) simply did not attend college and certainly did not finish with a 4 year degree. To most of them this is a simply a liberal/elitist/minority bailout…that’s why it’s so easy for the “right” to politicize this action.

The cold hard truth is most poor rural Americans simply don’t pay taxes - they don’t earn enough and receive EIC and actually get tax refunds (i.e. not really a taxpayer).

The people taking out student loans to become professionals and your new tax base and social security safety blanket should be treated with more respect and not used for cheap political points.
