Can anyone tell me who long it normally takes for a new plaza to get a Certificate of Occupancy? This plaza was completed at the end of April. The build-out of our business was completed the same time. The owners of the plaza assured us the inspections for the CO were to be done within days. That was over 2 months ago. Apparently city hall has an axe to grind with the owners of the plaza and as of today, 10 July 2006, there is no end in sight. Unfortunately for us, the bills on our financing come due in August. We were hoping to have been open by now and instead are facing the prospects of going out of business and bankruptcy with out ever having opened our door. For some strange reason the owners of the plaza don't seem to be to concerned about the delays. And city hall officials appear to be ignoring us also. Can anyone help???!!!!!!!
