I currently live in GA, but I am considering relocating to FL. I am an RN with years of experience in dialysis and hospice. I don't think employment will be an issue but I just wonder what area of FL is a good place for a 40 yr old single woman? Please help, any info is appreciated. Thank you!

It really depends on what you are looking for. The east coast has the ocean and is a little more upbeat then the west coast. The west coast has the gulf and is pretty laid back. The west coast (in most area's) seems to be cheaper as far as rent or mortgages.

The coastal areas can be nice, but I hate the thought of evacuation when a storm hits. We live and work in Gainesville and, despite what some others might say, Gainesville is a nice town with lots of nursing jobs. Because of the university, there are lots of cultural events, museums, etc., that you might not find in other places its size. There are also tons of places to rent because of the university.
