Brokencrayola's thread about Wolfgang Pucks pizza reminded me about the grilled pizza we make.

Ever make pizza on your grill?? This is always a favorite with our family in the summer time.
First, if you're using charcoal like we do set your grill up so you only have charcoal on the one side of your grill so you'll have a hot side and a cooler side.
We use homemade pizza dough, so make your favorite dough. When you're done make your pizza's into the size of 4 cut pizza's.
Get your grill going so it's nice and hot.
Brush your pizza's with olive oil on both sides.
Put you pizza doughs on the grill on the hot side but Don't Walk Away. It only takes a minute or two to cook. Flip them to cook the other side. You may have to do a few at a time till you have all your pizza shells done. When their all done everyone can put their favorite toppings on and then put them back on the grill on the cooler side. Shut the lid on your grill and give them a few minutes to cook. Keep checking them to see if their done because the cooking time will vary depending on how hot your grill is.

Give it a try. We make them a lot here. I know you'll love them.

Yum, that sounds good and fun. A note- lots of people feel overwhelmed about the idea of making your own crust. These "You bake" pizza places like Papa Murphy's etc. usually sell their homemade dough, so you can just buy it and bring it home and make it as posted above! I'm going to try that.

Sounds yummy. I've never even heard of a grilled pizza but I'm going to try it now. Thanks!

I've only done grilled pizza a couple times but it came out great.
I can get kind of neurotic about stuff like this (I keep wanting to take it off too soon).
You can grill homemade tortillas, too.
One of the best meals I've ever had in my life was breakfast burritos made with grilled homemade tortillas. We were camping at a beautiful Colorado lake.
Aww I guess you had to be there.

I do mine on the grill all the time except i use Pizza stones. If you cannot cook it on the grill (specially in summer months) it dosent get cooked at my house. But you can do almost anything on it. I cook my garlic bread on it too.
