Can anyone recommend a good pasta maker at a decent price that is really durable and they have had good results with? Also, can name the ones I should stay away from. Thanks for the help.

if you happen to have a kitchen aid, i would recommend getting the pasta attachment for it. i feel like it's wasteful to have a machine that ONLY makes pasta unless you are using it every day or making high quantities etc.

You might want to do some more research before you buy it. I have heard the attachment for pasta doesn't work too well.

I agree, I would think a dedicated machine would work better than an attachment for an all purpose machine. My parents have a paste maker but I'm not sure what brand it is, sorry.

I had a pasta machine years ago, maybe a Ronco--not sure, and the pasta was very good. However, the cleanup was not the best. Some of the parts could go in the dishwasher but not all. Of course, that was 20 years ago and pasta machines have changed. Williams Sonoma, Kitchen Kapers, and Fantes all have pasta makers and you can see the reviews. I have not gotten a pasta attachment for my KitchenAid, but that is where I would suggest that you start.

I had an electric one years ago and didn't care for it. I went back to the hand crank one that was passed down to me from my g'mom

If you want a manual rolling machine Ikea actually has a nice one, I've had a lot of success with mine. I don't know where I stand on the extruding machines yet!
