Hi,

Do any of you know where I can find a package of individually chicken breasts here in AZ? Fresh & Easy use to carry a refridgerated package of individually packaged chicken breasts- 8 count or something but I can't find them there anymore. I think Costco has them but they come with 15 chicken breasts or more- I don't need that many. I would like a package of six to ten chicken breasts.

Thanks.

I'm not in AZ, but I buy mine at Costco, that's the only place that I can think of ever seeing them here in Nashville.

I know the quantity is 5 more than what you want, but that's the beauty of them being individually wrapped, you can just put them aside in the freezer for later

Costco! They sell a big bag (I think like 5 or 10 pounds) and all the breasts are individually wrapped and frozen. I love it, because the plastic they're wrapped in is thick enough you can thrown a few in the fridge to thaw and not have to worry about contamination.

I know you're not in the same part of the Valley as me, but I go to the Costco on Arizona Ave. and Country Club, and they have them there.

Perdue sells them in packs of 5, plain or marinated in Italian herbs. You can also get a 5 pack in Trader Joes. Any more than that is Costco territory.

Why don't you just buy fresh ones and pop them into individual ziplock bags? I never like the looks of the frozen ones..they look dry to me.

I don't think the OP stated individually prepackaged frozen. However I do look for sales on the family/industrial size packs of fresh chicken parts and stuff them into zip-locks separating for meals.

I just found rib on chicken breasts for $1.28 per lb in monster packs (8 per pack) from foster farms yesterday. Bought about 25lbs of them. Separated them into zip-locks and tossed in the deep freeze.

Maybe I'm just a little confused, but why would someone want individual, fresh chicken breasts in packs of 6 unless they were going to freeze them and use them one at a time?
