Oh, I go through milk much faster than that. It doesn't have a chance to spoil. I can't imagine having any beverage in my possession for weeks, excluding bottles of wine on my rack (and some of them not that long).
Same here. We all have it on our cereal every day so we go through it quickly. I wish they sold almond milk by the gallon!
We've gone from skim real milk to soy milk to almond milk. Almond milk is by far our favorite. We buy the unsweetened original or unsweetened vanilla. It's very yummy. Makes a super smoothy.
Once I made a mistake and came home with a mixture of almond and coconut milk..I didn't care for that as much--it tasted funky in my coffee.
I just got some almond milk @ Walmart and it was $3.18 for a half gallon.
Almond milk is great. When I used to buy real milk, it would go bad before we could use it (I don't like milk). I now switched to almond milk and not only did my hubby have better test results at the doctor, but the stuff is delicious and I use it for all my baking needs, too, works great! It has a long shelf life as a bonus. I highly recommend!
We buy the 40 calorie almond milk and it is delicious...very mild tasting - great on cereal and in smoothies. Honestly we don't need all the sugar that is in the sweetened version - the 40 calories per cup unsweetened kind is perfect.
I like Almond milk, except sometimes there is a funny after taste to me. I tried to buy it as an alternate in the morning w/cereal for my kids, but they prefer just plain skim milk...
I'm highly lactose intolerant and used to be vegan so I've had almond milk many times. I find it delicious whether I drink it plain, use it to make a shake, or use it in cereal. I also really enjoy chocolate almond milk. However, it seems that almond milk isn't soluble in coffee, has anyone else had that experience?
