We saw this movie last night, I Like Killing Flies, and thoroughly enjoyed all 80 minutes of it.

It's about one of those diners -- Shopsin's -- that can ONLY be found in Greenwich Village (NYC).

It's about Kenny Shopsin, the owner, one of those odd, cynical, philisophical, funny people who can ONLY be found in Greenwich Village.

It's about the people who are "allowed" to eat at Shopsin's (don't try to go in as a group of more than four people; even if you're a party of five but broken up into two parties of three and two, Kenny will throw you out, even if the restaurant is otherwise empty), the type of people who can ONLY be found in Greenwich Village.

God, I love Greenwich Village!

Oh, but if you don't like the F-word tossed into every sentence, you won't like the movie. I, of course, loved it.

And if you don't like seeing fat, hairy, filthy men making your food with their dirty fingers, you might want to pass on the film, too. Or, see the film, but don't go to Shopsin's.

Here's the Shopsin's website: http://www.shopsins.com/
Click on the menu on right side -- it's crazy! (I don't know if it's on the menu -- I didn't look -- but he made mac 'n cheese pancakes. Now I want those!)
